Meet The Band

Peter Lavender 

A Beatle fan for as long as he can remember, singer/songwriter Peter Lavender has been entertaining audiences in Boston and the Lowell area for decades. He has released four solo CDs and is currently recording songs for an upcoming release. Peter’s dream of performing in a Beatles band has finally come to fruition with Glass Onion and he is thrilled to be playing with such an experienced group of musicians who love and appreciate the fab four as much as he does. 

Dave Norton 

Dave started his musical life at age 12 as a drummer, studying drumming and later Piano at Metro Music on Central Street in Lowell. Dave has been in local bands ever since 1965. Having played Drums, Piano, 5 string banjo, Acoustic Guitar, and Bass in a wide variety of bands. A long time lover of  Bluegrass, Homespun Music Instruction and Beatles music, Dave  is one of 3 original founding members of GlassOnion. 

Bob Nash

A lifelong fan of the Beatles since discovering his parent's vinyl collection as a 3rd grader, Bob has been a lover of music ever since.  A Berklee College Of Music graduate, he has performed in countless bands as a drummer, guitarist, and vocalist, all while running a successful recording studio (Wonka Sound in Lowell, MA).   Bob's musical career has finally come full circle as a proud member of Glass Onion.

Tom Mansur 

Drumming since the age of ten, Tom has played in numerous bands in and around the Lowell area since the late 60’s. Ringo was Tom’s earliest drumming influence and he finds playing Beatles songs challenging and rewarding.
